Please tell me you were watching the buoys yesterday evening and caught it this morning. Not only did our late-season low re wrap and doubled back into the SW quadrant of our wave window, but coupled with the abnormally low pressure gradient off the Bahama banks, it delivering an extraordinarily rare final pulse that sent an epic 90 minutes of surf to South Florida's shoreline this morning from 5am to 6:30am. 6 to 9 feet of peeling insanity!!!! Truly unbelievable and epic. Now flat. Hope you caught some. Probably won't see this kind of surf again until this time next year ....

Ankle high swell rolling up on the beach. Rare knee high sets breaking on the outer reef. Completely unrideable but I would definitely keep an eye on it. West wind forecast for the next five days. There's no telling what to expect.

Still occasional knee high waves. Spring break beach day. Dribble swell breaking on reef. Still might find rideable ankle to knee high swellettes if you're up for the hunt. Hope you were fortunate enough to catch some of yesterday afternoon's mysto swell. For today, light E breeze, sunny, and flat.

Flat with variable wind. Unanythingable. Last night's wind died shorly after midnight. Sunny flatness. Early fog slowly bunring off. Smell of burning cane in the air. Go snorkling.

Beach day. No surf Muggy, summer like late-night buzz kill flatness. Fret not, late spring chop comes knocking this afternoon through, at least, Wednesday.

Caught some waves this AM before the storm moved in. Waist high sets with a moderate N drift. Fun and getting better and man, did it feel good to be back in the water. Presently, very powerful thunderstorm rumbling through. Aint no one going out in this. ..

Early S line now vanished under light chop. Unrideable for now. Difficult to say what lies ahead. Cold front moving through today with strong WSW winds today and tomorrow. Sounds like refracto swell, but I just don't see it happening. Either way, there's a lot of weather out there, so keep an eye on it. Flatness. Keep an eye out. Too cool and too much W wind ....

Almost didn't go out this morning, but thanks to a some Liquid coercing I saw the light. Fairly consistent knee to rare waist high leftovers. Started to pick up as the tide fell out. If you're up for some small wave hunting, I'd get on it now. This puppy is on the way out...

If you are one of the few who checked early this AM, next to nothing can knock you off your cloud today. From first light until 6:46 (yep, I remember the exact minute), near epic. Consistent dcest to overhead clean powerful swell. Then the NE wind turned on and within 20 minutes near perfect non-stop sets became wind-blown crap. If you slept in, well, you snooze you .....

 Maginally rideable early on, picking up through the day. Think I'll go for a run on the beach .... Pretty darn beat earlier at high tide when my pics were taken. Now, looking thigh to waist and very rideable. Wind on the increase at 15 to 20.

Fun thigh to mostly waist high wind swell this AM. Best we've seen in this chop run which looks to come to an end today. Go get yourself some while you can.

 

Knee to thigh nuggets that we all be dying for in a month or two. 20 minutes / twenty waves. Can't beat that!

Woo hoo, back in the saddle once again. 5 days of dryness is much too long. It was sure great to get wet this morning. Knee to thigh high.

 Flat. Cold front on the way down. Wind forecast to blow out of the W and then turn N late tonight. Tomorrow AM is difficult to call, but it may be worth checking out. After that, we should have NE chop through the rest of the week.

NE Wind kicked in late last night. What was ankle high at 6:30am was knee to thigh high at 7:30. Nothing special, but rideable and guaranteed to pick up through the day. Presently, consistent NE at 15mph with 20+ gusts.
