| Took a ride up the road a bit this AM. The first stop, which was waist high yesterday, was barely knee today. So, tacked on another 20 minutes to the road trip, to find knee to max thigh high leftovers. Inconsistent but funable. Good to get wet. At home, stormy with light SW wind. |
Light local SE knee high storm swell early on. Gone now. Keep an eye on it. Between the afternoon thunderstorms, which should spring up again today, and our friend off the Carolina coast, it's difficult to predict what to expect. For now, flat. |
Flat, still and overcast. Don't take your eye off those cams. You never know ... |

| Is Alex pulling a fast one on Florida or what? Absolute flatness reigns supreme. BUT, looking up for the weekend .... | Flat, muggy and buggy. Weekend hope has gone fizz in the Atlantic. Hope you were one of the few who caught some yesterday morning. | Flat and, believe it or not, sunny. No surf today, but the leftovers of what could've been Bonnie, may hook us up with some chop later on in the weekend and Monday. It aint gonna be big, but it may be scrapable. Me likes scraps ... |

Last night's little something is alotta nothing today. Took a little trip upcoast this AM for ankle high lotta nothing. Still always good to get wet, but recommend staying home ... and watching those cams .... more on da way .... |
Started out way early and hit the Palm Beaches. Easily head high but on the mushy side. Leashed up and ready to go out, got the call from home .... head high. Surfed a little up the road from 6:30 to 9am. Waist to head high clean swell until 8ish. After 8 size dropped and waves started closing out and, of course, the crowd arrived. At home, swell is beginning to show, but smaller with no one out. If the swell does not back off, should be pretty darn fun in about an hour. Go SURF!!! | Trace lines but no rideable surf. Great day yesterday.... |

| Nothing but flat. | Flat now, but that's going to change real soon. Charlie, the bearer of serious power chop, comes our way. East wind should start picking up early tomorrow. It aint going to be pretty by any means, but who are we to be picky? There will definitely be surf, and it's going to get big! | Surfed 6 to 7:30am. Started out knee high with 10 to 15 mph wind. By the time we got out wind was solid 15 to 20 SSE. Game on!!! |

Certainly not what I was expecting to see this AM. BUT, I don't care what they say about knee to thigh, this was some fun knee to thigh. Consistent knee with thigh to plus wind swell. Wind is picking up and so is the surf. You know what to do. |
Looks as if yesterday evening was the best of Charles to-date. Hope you caught some. AM session this morning was marginal knee high. Keep an eye on it. You never know what might be sent our direction ... |
Opted with the family plan over rideable ankle to knee high. Definitely, the right choice .... heavy rain and ligtening here on the beach over the past couple hours. Great morning to chill! Looking to hook bacak up with the surf plan tomorrow. Winds forecast to blow 10 to 15 today and tonight. Should have rideable knee + waves. |

| Just isn't happening out there this AM. Light breeze but not enough to bring rideable chop. Maybe later in the week ... | Nada surf. This week may be a good week to catch up on those things that will be neglected in weeks to come ... like sending your favorite digital camera back to it's maker for a much needed tune-up. | Pretty darn flat out there. For you turtle lovers, hatchlings are making their confused little march to mother Atlantic. Don't think I've ever seen so many tracks on the beach as this morning. |

| Overcast and dreary. No wind. No waves. | Similar to yesterday. Just add a little light, but for us, it's all the same .... no wind. No waves. | OK, I've written off this week. I'm going out on a limb here, but I think next week will be the start, although a slow one, of the this surf season. July and August ... done and over ... September, here we come! September - canes, October - canes / wind, November - wind / wind, December on .... cold front. Bring it on baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| Flat | Completely flat and still. I don't know about you, but although it's far away and WILL bring waves our way next week, Frances is really freaking me out. | Yesterday evening's small N swell now gone. Small S line from nowhere, showing early on, also gone by sun pop. Surf is but a few days away. Rest up, you're gonna need it. |

| Frances is beginning to look a little better for us in South Florida. Then again, those in Punta Gorda were probably thinking the same thing about this time. Don't let your gaurd down. | ||
