Sun and wind. Plenty of chop, light on the size. Knee to thigh high. Kite boarders all over it. Rideable.

Wind, rain, and plenty of chop. Some would call it junk. I call it waist high surf. Catch some for Shrimp who's home sick. Surf = pneumonia, and another month w/o getting wet.

Looking mighty fun out there. NO WIND and cleaning up. Light drizzle. Thigh to waist, maybe bigger. If I weren't still sick, I'd probably be updating with killer shots from a morning session. My suggestion to you - take your vitamins, live clean (well, give it your best shot) and GO SURF! Rolled the dice with the Liquid this morning and came up snake eyes. Ankle high sand slappers. No wind. No surf. The SALSA float will be making it's debut at tonight's Boca Christmas Parade. Come check it out!!

Overcast and damn near flat. Still and unrideable.

Christmas December 26 December 27
Cold front barreled through shortly after Santa left, before sunrise (pics shots from my balcony at that time). What knee high S swell still showing then is but a memory now. Strong NW wind blowing at 20+. No surf. Small chance swell will begin to show before sundown. Warm up those wet suits and get ready, Santa maybe a little late, but we've been good and he is about to deliver!!!

Surfed Zooray with SALSA crew this AM. Off-shore winds clean waist to chest to head high surf. Pretty awesome materail. Crowd filled in fast after 8:00 and surf flattened out a bit. Boca looked waist high and N. Broward is presently thigh high. Go get some now, might not last. Thanks Santa!

Sunrise Delray session with LIQUID, Danno, Anarchy and Merrick. Knee to thigh to rare waist (every 10 minutes) residual swell with no one out. Loggable fun!

December 28 December 29 December 30
Skunked down South. Swell in the water but nothing rideable yet. Jupiter on North is rideable.

Took the AM train to Palm Beach. Warbly swell breaking thigh to max waist. Did not go out due to an unbelievable amount of bait fish and sharks. Saw one 5ft shark. Never seen anything like it before. Surfed Lantana for about 30 minutes with Longboardlife, Steve (in pics). Crap thigh high swell breaking in knee high water. Felt like surfing boat wake. Find something else to do. Go Fins!!!

Wind picking up. Still not rideable.

Waist to chest to head. Atlantic stew.

Keep it local. Keep it safe tonight. Live to surf another day (or, at least, drive to your favorite break another day)!
