| Inconsistent knee to thigh chop. NE wind @ 15mph and forecast to hold through the week. November goes down as one of the top months of daily rideable surf in the past 3 years, and December is off to a good start. Gotta like the way this Winter season is shaping up... |
NE wind never turned on last night. Light off-shore wind early on with a lazy knee to thigh swell. Wind gradually clocking around to NNE after sunrise. Should pick-up through the day.
|
E wind @ 20. Waist ++ and fun. Moderate S drift. Get yourself some! |

Waves peaked shortly after noontime at knee to waist high. Peetered out shortly before sundown. Presently, nothing. Morning looking very iffy and cold at this time. |

Took a stroll up the road. Lazy loggable thigh to waist high waves. Nothing special. Presently, ankle to knee high swell rolling in here at home. Maybe rideable at rising tide. Go Dolphins! |
Unrideable ripples bubbling up on the beach. Time for South Florida to embrace a new football dynasty in the making, the Fighting FAU Owls! This weekend the Owls spanked N. Arizona to advance to the 1AA semis! Go Owls! |
Surfed a little N this AM. 15+ E wind with underlying thigh to waist ground swell. Very mushy at high tide, but some rides to be had. At home, 10mph E wind and no swell. |

Waist plus mushy shifty waves at high tide this AM. SE wind blowing 15 + and forecast to turn S then W tonight. Could be really fun later just off low tide. Haven't a clue what to expect tomorrow.... |
Pristine flatness. West wind slowly ramping up. Keep and eye on it, maybe later, maybe tomorrow, and possibly not at all. | Surfed behind da casa this morning. As Surf Info, Swami, would put it, noserider hotel. Light off-shore breeze. Dying out. Next cold front rolling through Sunday. Until then, relationship maintenance... |

| No pics today. As I said yesterday, today is relationship maintenance day. And, that is exactly why I'm leaving my wife and newborn at home, to watch those big burly FAU Owls kick some Colgate ass today at Lockhart stadium en route to the 1AA National Championships. There's nothing remotely rideable even for the desperhardcore today. Maybe some chop tomorrow AM... | Surfed noon til 3pm. Started out waist to chest but quickly dropped to knee. Presently, unrideable with 10+ NW wind. Forecast to blow 20 to 25 tonight. Might be worth a morning check... |
N lines beginning to show, but still unrideable. West wind never kicked in as forecast, so this one is a coin flip. Still, definitely keep an eye out. |

Junky thigh to thigh plus inconsistenty mushy dumpy waves this AM. Strong cold front knocking at the door. Chop should pick throughout the day. |
Knee high clean dribblers this AM. Light West wind beginning to pick-up. Look for a LIQUID ADDICTION photo update of this morning's surf later.Strong cold front presently pushing through South Florida. It's going to get cold. Christmas maybe a week ahead of schedule this year. Get your favorite Santa suit out. I think we've all been good boys and girls. |
rove a little up the road this morning. Waist to head high mushy waves. Some long fun waves but nothing special. Looking much better at home. Long lines stacked 3 to 4 back and breaking down the beach at waist plus. Grab yourself some. May hold for a few days if we're lucky. |

Almost went back to bed, which would have been a big mistake. After checking several breaks, settled at a local favorite with clean knee to rare waist high peelers. Much more fun than yesterday's waist to chest high mush balls. Great time. Swell appears to be picking up again. Plenty of lines showing behind my place. Go hunt some down! |
Surfed 6 to 10am. Started out glassy with long waist to waist plus lines. All above shots prior to 8am. After 8 the NNW wind got on it but still very fun with solid swell. From 11 to 1pm it backed off some, but now it's firing behind my place. Long, long waist plus lines breaking slowly down the beach. One guy out. Grab some if you can! |
Started out locally at 6am with waves in the waist high range, then got a call that it was breaking head high a little up the road. It was waist to head high but mushy as all hell. So, traveled home and surfed knee to a waste of time cold waves until about 10am. Oh well, frustrating, but still had fun. Presently, still long knee high waves coming in. NE wind should be on it soon. |

With high tide making the local break like a bag of coal, took a little stroll up the road. Started at a South Palm Beach break that has recently become increasingly popular, well it sure sucked on chop. Ended up doing a little trespassing. Knee to waist high dumpers. Nothing special, but rideable. |
Wind died late last night. Knee to thigh high swell with rare waist high sets. This could be it for a few days, so you may want to grab some now. |
Either Santa arrived a few days back, or we haven't been the good boys and girls we thought we were. Overcast, muggy with a light SE breeze and flat. If you haven't gotten the shopping done, best of luck. |

Surfed 10:30 to 12:30. Knee to thigh high. Mushy. MOWs were the only locals out. |
Wind blew 15 to 20 all night and has not let up since. Thigh to waist to chest on sets. Brutal close-out dumps at low tide on the shore break. Literally hundreds of MOWs washed up shore. If you can't handle the sting, don't even think about going out. Wind forecast to back off later today. Maybe rideable tomorrow morning, and then go flat for the remainder of the year. |
5 to 10 SE breeze. Blue sky winter beach day perfection. All said and done for 2003. |

After 2 1/2 months of non-stop surf, today marked the return to the morning run routine ... and it sucked. This POS weather pattern will probably hold through the remainder of the week. If you're looking for a repeat of this year's Jan 1 surf, look to another coast. Play safe tonight. Live to surf, or at least legally drive to, your favorite break another day. |
