Surprisingly fun sunrise session with Monster, Pottsieand Woody. Knee to occasional thigh high on the outside. Semi-glass leftovers. Pottsie saw a shark among baitfish, so for those who go for it, watch out. Also, saw several jellyfish floating a foot or two under the surface. In all, good time. No better way to start the day..

There's waves! Six to twelve inch wind swell rolling through. An occasional two foot macker can be found. Rideable for the longboarder with absolutely nothing else going. If you don't fall into the category, ITS MARDI GRAS and you know what to do!!!
 Lotta action (Mrs. Creole at centert) / no waves. Background swell mostly lapping up on the beach. Maybe LBable at low tide but that's questionable. Enjoy the game.

Small max knee high peelers. Logable. Bumps on the horizon. Not good now but has the feeling of good things to come.

Surfed the South end of SR park. North end looking a good foot larger. Easy waves. No close outs. Get some NOW!!!

Sunrise session with Seacliff and Pottsie. Although looking completely unrideable from the shore, went for it. Still rideable knee to thigh high underlying swell breaking on the mid-break. Wind chop building with an occasional rideable wave on the inside. Slight North drift. Plus, for the first time, VIDEO of today.

Full-on SALSA session with Monster, Seacliff, Sprocket and Sprockette. Consistent thigh to waist high SE wind swell. Good time had by all. Wind turning now out of the SW so it probably won't last long.

Waist to chest high semi-clean swell showing up around mid-day.

 7 - 9 session with Seacliff, Mothra, Monster & Sprocket at Dunes. Knee to thigh. Barely rideable at high tide but improved as the tide fell out. MOWs and jellyfish present. Swell backing off.

Surfed 1 - 3:30. Knee to thigh + slop chop. Improved as tide filled in. Good time had with SALSA brothers, plus Jobless, Mark and Scott

Nada surf. Residual nothingness.

 Smelly mighty skunky out there. Today is fat ... Fat Tuesday. Happy Mardi Gras!!!

VWaves ... you snooze / you loose. Surf 7 - 10 with Seacliff. Boca bunk so hit Delray. Surfed South Delray until 9, knee to max thigh. Moved to meters where is was thigh plus, nearing high tide. Very fun.

Max knee and loggable. Matt "Bones" Corwin making a little something look alotta fun. I flopped around and made a complete fool of myself from 3 - 4pm. Ankle high breaking on the sand. Occasional knee high macker would float in .... and break on the sand. Someone's got to do it. Why not me ...

Same dribble as yesterday. Swell, but small and unridable. Wind should be picking up from the NE soon. Wind chop to come...

Sunrise session with Seacliff, Pottsie and Flipper. Not as good as expected but fun. 2 - 3 ft chop. Light South drift. NW wind blowing 20+. Will definitely pick up thoughout the day. Go get some..

Sunrise session with Seacliff, Mothra, Flipper and new Salsa member, Top Shelf. 20+ SE wind with moderate to strong N drift. Fun waist high on the inside with chest high bombs on the outside.

Aborted morning session. Warm, partly cloudy, humid and no waves. Almost still. Rest up, more to come.

Surf 4:30 - 6:00. Consistent knee to thigh clean S swell. Occasional waist high set every 10 minutes. Off shore winds. Couple other guys out. High tide making things a little mushy. Real fun.

Surfed Delray 6:30 - 9:30 with a full SALSA crew. Excellent conditions. Consistent chest high initially, dropping to waist to chest. Offshore winds. Little to no drift. Looks great in Boca, as well. Gorgeous day. Get off the damn computer NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Surf Delray at sunrise with the SALSA crew. Waist plus North swell. Glassy. No wind. Near perfect. Nothing going in Boca. Head North and get yourself some.

Waves were booming all last night in Boca. Went to Delray at sunrise to find the goods and the goods weren't there. Boca was the spot. Surfed the Rock with Seacliff, longboardlife.com Steve, Pottsie and Top Shelf. One of my favorite sessions of the winter. Consistent waist high peelers. Near glassy and perfect. Awesome, awsome time. Get some while you can.

Did the dawn patrol thing to be skunked along with the rest of the Salsa hardcore (desperate or whatever you want to call it). So I thought. Had a feeling it was working on the home front. Sunrise picture taking revealed thigh plus swell. Breaking close but definitely rideable. Got video of one of the smaller sets. Always trust your surf instincts ...

SALSA invaded SR park this AM. Consistent knee to thigh, increasing in size as tide grew fat. Good clean cold fun.
