Phenomenal waves at sunrise. Head plus South wind swell. Awesome!!! Best I've seen in North Broward. Died fast. By eight, started getting funky with size decreasing rapidly. By nine, waist to occasional chest but nothing special. Get on it now. Will be gone soon.

Ankle to max knee residual S swell. Maybe rideable.

Good morning Mr. Cold Front! Still, flat and overcast, with a deceivingly warm trippy feel. What does it all mean? Well, marine forecast calls for strong NW winds tonight. Wax on!

Started out surfing N of Delray to avoid the zoo. Thigh to waist and closing out. Moved to sailboats where it wasn't breaking at all. Surfed from 9 - 10 at Zooray Central. Counted 54 guys out when I entered the water. Yes, zoo was in session but there were plenty of waves to go around. Waist to chest, easy and rideable to the beach. Great stuff. Top R shot is of Delray. L & M shots from earlier and of one of my favorite surfers. Awesome surfer and great guy. Hard to beat a good wipe-out shot. Oh, Boca looked real good on ride home. Knee high at my pad.

Drove to Lantana and back. Knee high residual washing up on beach. Hope you caught some yesterday.

AM train to no where this morning. Caught a good caffeine buzz and leg / back lift, but that wasn't what I was looking for. No waves as of yet. Marine forecast looking sketchy. S. FL may get skunked on this one. Time will tell...

 Surfed Zooray with full SALSA crew. Waist to chest. Some close-outs. Some real fun long rides. Good time. Clean. Boca half Delray. N. Broward half Boca. Get some while it lasts! Knee plus swell rolling in N. Broward. Clean. Heard Delray was waist plus.

Small N line knocked down by SW breeze. Completely unrideable. Beautiful morning. Almost still. No waves.

 Surfed Palm Beach from 7 - 9 with SALSA crew. Thigh to occasional waist. Funky /shift swell. Tide was not helping it out. Could improve with the rising tide. Nothing showing in N. Broward.

Sunny and cool. No surf. Nothing. Swell washing up on shore in Delray. May improve as tide falls.  Although morning is my favorite time of the day, this morning didn't have much to offer. Surf skunkage for the second day in a row. Tried a couple different balcony angles in hope of salvaging a mediocre sunrise ... failed experiment. There's always tomorrow. Well, probably not for surf. Presently, sand splashers. Residual buzz kill swell.

Flat. Nothing going. Presently, still, warm and clear with light surface chop. Current conditions aren't due to last long. Watch for rapidly dropping temps, increase in NW wind .... surf is on its way!!!

Sunrise Delray session. Initially waist to chest. By 8AM, waist high backwashy funky mush. Only a handful of guys still out when I got out around 9. Certainly not worth freezing your nuts off. Just off the phone with Surf XTC, Geoff, he said Hobe Sound was much the same. Might improve with low tide. Don't think this is all we've seen of this swell. Presently, knee high lines in my backyard here in N. Broward.

Surfed Delray this AM from 7 - 10. Clean waist plus early on (in pics) turned waist to chest not so clean later. Very fun. Light crowd. Presently, looking real nice in North Broward. Three wave knee to thigh high sets tightly stacked as far as the eye can see. Gorgeous day! As for me, nap time. Hung with SurfXTC, Geoff, last night until the wee hours, plus morning surf, plus cool air, plus warm sun = tired crustacean.

 Gone. Not even a hint of lingering swell. Looks like another beautiful day on tap. This one surf-free. Flat!

Bomb of a sunrise. Still, warm and glassy flat. Spring like conditions for snowbirds, not surfers.

Did I say yesterday was the bomb of a sunrise, well, I was wrong. It was today! And, actually, it wasn't the sunrise. It was the period before the sunrise. Wow!!! Holy blotter special...

As advertised, tomorrow should be the day. All photogs should also be present. Steam off the ocean should be exceptionally thick. Cold water / air gear essential. Will update tonight.

Did the Broward tour this AM, settled on Pineapple point. Waist to chest. May not have been as big as other spots, but certainly more fun.

Surfed South Beach from 8 - 11. Started out overhead to plus A frames. Near perfect. By 11 it was waist to chest with light WNW wind. Crowded!!! Pros and big cameras part of the program. Above pics shot on the way out.

 Sunny and a bit warmer. Knee high and rideable Broward county. Go Bucs!  Unrideable and still at the moment. Wind forecast to pick up strong out of the N. Cold front on the way.

Sought shelter from the wind in pineapple land. Waist plus and getting better with falling tide. In North Broward, wind blown crud. Wind out of NNE @ 15+.

Surfed Pineapple Point this AM with small crew. What started out as near unrideable at daybreak, turned waist plus with outgoing tide.

Flat, overcast and still.
