June 03

Morning glass. Still now. Great morning for an ocean swim. Look for the summer weather pattern to kick in this week with much needed afternoon showers. Surf ... well, let's hope you got your fair share last month.

Flat and still.

Light E breeze - kiteable.

June 04 June 05 June 06
Back from an early AM run / swim. Great visibilty. Classic summertime weather. Thunderstorms already on the march. Light SE kiteable breeze. Flat with light breeze. Summer flat.
June 07 June 08 June 09
Almost rideable storm swell early on. Rain now beginning to come ashore. Look for increasing wind over the next few days. This AM was a Venus photo op gone flop. Completely unrideable as well. 10 to 15 mph E winds should provide some small wave action over the next few days.

Ankle to knee high rideable wavelets. Charge it, it's summer! Wind should hold during the day. Evening could be fun.

Summertime Rolls ... if only it was half as good as the song ...

Flat!

Just aint happening today, tomorrow, then next day, day after that .....

Flat!

Very hot with a light E breeze, barely kiteable. Thunderstorms approaching from the West.
June 13 June 14 June 15
Summertime sizzler with a light breeze. Light SE ripple. What small swell visible in the water from the condo-view before sunrise is gone now. Head North.
June 16 June 17 June 18

Light SE breeze and a bit cooler and drier than the past few days. I'm sure that'll all change in about an hour....

Still no hope in sight for rideable surf.

RIDEABLE knee to thigh high early on. Presently max knee high. Should pick up a bit for some good evening scraps. Pic updates to come by LIQUID ADDICTION. Check his site for more pics and video of today's session.

I apologize for the following, " ... no hope in sight for rideable surf." This comment was ill-conceived and uncharacteristically pessimistic. There is no place on this site, or for that matter in the South Florida core surf community for such thinking. Never again ...

Semi clean thigh to occasional waist high wind swell early on. Probably the best local waves this June. Grab it now or not at all. Still small lines coming in but it's on it's way out.

Flat. Faalat. Hot. No wind. No surf.
June 22 June 23 June 24
Light W breeze. No surf. Slight chance for late week knee to thigh chop with approaching tropical wave. Light SE breeze providing some texture on the water but no rideable surf. Cool and beautiful early and sure to be followed by another steamer. Wind died around 11am but now picking up again with thunderstorms finally rolling in after threatening all day. Wind forecast not favorable for Friday AM, but keep an eye on it.

Paying homeage to the white water rule, I charged it. Toe to ankle high with knee high set waves every 22 1/2 minutes. Still always great to get wet and no better way to start the day.

Approaching tropical wave should do us right this week. Wind will begin to pick up today and hold in the 10 to 15 mph range all week.

Thanks bro for the updates !!!

Wind didn't quit work out as promised, but it sure didn't seem to matter much this AM. Surfed 40 minutes and probably caught 30 knee to thigh high SE peelers with a couple waist high sets to boot. Flippen great time.

Our marine forecasting friends have toned down their expectation of this tropical wave. Regardless, look for knee to thigh surf over the next couple days.

Nope. Not. Nada surf. Morning buzz kill...
