| Trace lines early on, now not visible. 10+ NW wind with gusts up to 20mph. Early bird should have slept in. If I were a betting guy (and I'm not), I'd say were just a few hours away from surf. |
My personal best session of the year. Longboard perfection. Started knee to thigh (as in above pics), but picked up to consistent waist to chest with 50 to 100 yard rides to be had. Had a fippen blast! Hope you caught some, because I think it's on the way out. |
Hunt and you shall find, but it's small and definitely on the way out. Caught an hour local session after an hour of car surfing. Knee to thigh and fun. More should be on the way in a few days. |

| Blew all last night, but just wasn't happening this morning. Wind now off shore but still very marginal knee high waves. If that. Don't bother. Great morning for sleeping in ... | Beachdayeriffic. Leavedaboardathome. | Cool,
dry, west wind, and no surf. Maybe in a few days ...
Chris here with a mid day update...Knee to waist to occasional chest....More pics on LA. |

| Flat and still. | Flat and washing up on the shore at all spots, except your choice South break where it was / is firing. This AM replaced March 2 as my favorite session of 05. Started out as thigh to waist high suicide runs into the sand, then size picked up to waist +and waves started to break further out, still running into the sand. Flippen awesome session! Go hunt some down! |
As flat as flat gets. Only thing the early bird caught this morning was sleep depravation. Rain on the way. Not sure about our chances of swell out of this one. This weekend is looking up. |

| Strong NW wind knocking down anything that might have been. Flat and cold! | Thigh to waist high long peeling lines breaking close to the beach early on. Tide killed it around 7:30 (shortly before above pics taken). Now, knee high and barely rideable. |
A beautiful skunky Saturday morning. Wind never blew and remains still. Grab the Hawaiian Tropic and your hottie and hit the beach! The board can stay at home. |

Flat. Beach day. |
Light S breeze and unrideable surf. Maybe a little something in a few days.South Florida Surf moves into its 5th year of Surf History! Check it out.. SFS.
|
Looks and feels an awful lot like summer out there. Oil, glass flat! |

Sweet spring morning. 10 to 15 mph SE wind. Not rideable now but should be later this afternoon, maybe into tomorrow morning. Weekend also looking very good for waves. |
Barely rideable S line mostly breaking on the beach. If only I could have coxed someone to paddle out, I would have got wet. Actually looking a little more rideable now, but rain is heavy on the beach. Looks as if there is only one option for this fine rainy Thursday ... just be sure to call a cab for the ride home. |
Cool and dry once again. Max ankle high. Basically flat. Light west wind and just not happening. Maybe in a few hours, but it's going to be a quicky if so. Feeling skunked. |

Gotta love the wireless world. A 24 Mbps unsecured signal on the beach! Here in N. Broward yesterday's swell has basically gone flat. There is a little something in the water but it's washing up on the sand. Unrideable. A little up the road in shark infested territory, you will find thigh to waist high lines, but I've been told the bait fish are bubbling in the middle of the break. I think I'll stick right where I'm at ... in beachy geek wonderland... |
Beach day. If you got the time, drive about an hour upcoast for waist high swell. | 15mph S breeze, but nothing rideable. If there was a little E in it, we'd probably have some fun waves. South wind is suppose to really pick up later then turn W. Maybe tomorrow .... |

| The wind never picked up last night, and the rest of the week is looking not so hot. Don't sweat it, it's not summer just yet. We'll be back in the water soon. | Would have gone out if only I could have gotten one of my poorly motivated / excuse making / lame ass friends to surf. Check your S swell breaks. Early on easily thigh, but I'm guessing bigger. Wind had died so it was cleaning up. If you are going to surf, do it soon. Wind has done its thing and the surf is on its way down fast. Chris, LA, you've been in Jamaica too long, return .... please! | Looks as if we might get another shot of S wind swell the later part of this coming weekend. Until then, flat. |

| Cloudy, muggy summerish morning. Flat! All we need now is sealice .... crap, there I go, I said it .... | It's a cooker out there already. Grab the oil, bug spray and floaty (the inflatable kind) and hit the beach. Oh, and don't forget the binoculars ... it's Spring Break at it's peak. | Light SE wind and with marginal knee high chop. Better stick with the family plan this morning, if know what's best, but may want to sneak out later on S wind swell hunt. |

| Hope was there this morning for a small clean S swell, but the waves weren't. South wind picked up, but never really turned on last night before the wind shifted W. Now, it's blowing WSW at 15mph with higher gusts. No surf today, but with the approaching cold front and continued W winds, tomorrow might be worth another hope check. | Still, cool, dry, flat ... skunked! | Flat, again. |

| Light surface chop and unrideable. See ya March, can't say it's been good .... |
