Report curtesy Monster: Rode this AM with SALSA crew. Caught a few on the ouside. Better on the inside. 2 - 4 ft with slight S drift. The other excitement in the water was 2 dolphins in the ouside sets and I almost ran over 2 sea turtles that were cruising thru. Yesterday's session included 2 stingrays in the lineup on the small north swell. The sea life is around in Boca the last 2 days.

Drifted from Palmetto to SR park with Salsa crew. Not pretty out there. Wind blowing hard from E 20+. Overhead on the outside. Waist to chest on the inside. Mushy and blown out. Drift option only. Really not that fun. Rush Reef in pics. Salsa party just a few ours away.

Full SALSA crew this AM. Started off fun and big on the outside. Saw Woody catch a couple head plus waves. Things started dying out so moved to the inside where it was breaking waist high. Moderate North drift. Wind blowing from the South. Don't know how much longer its going to last.

Semi-rideable small leftover SE lines foaming on the mid-break. Cold front beginning to pass through. Looking ominous. Change on the way once again. Maybe later. Maybe tomorrow.

Checked Delray. No good. Surfed Boca Point. Not bad / not great. Kinda disappointing / still fun, and always good with large SALSA crew. Knee to thigh semi glassy North swell. Mushy and funking up but definitely rideable. Get some before wind gets on it.

Chop, chop, chop, big chop, white water, paddle, paddle, you snoozed? ... you didn't loose.

Full-on SALSA sunrise session. Wind dying down and surf cleaning up ... well, a little bit. Fun on the outside. Waist to chest to chest plus drops. Wall of white water to paddle through, but nothing like yesterday. Small S drift. Semi-rideable on the inside. Outside is definitely better. Go get some.

Abandoned sunrise session. Went for a run of SR park. Couple guys out at SR park catching 1 - 3 foot shorebreak. Best at 40th Street and at South end (my place). Seems to be improving as tide drops. Nothing special but rideable. Shot shows some kid preparing to get hammered in two feet of water

Perfect beach day for those who don't surf. Those who do? Well, there's a very important ingredient missing.

Thought yesterday was flat? Flatter! Hope you caught some in February. SALSA picnic today!!!

Unrideable at high tide. Should be workable this afternoon. Wind ENE @ 15+.

Report curtesy Seacliff: Had to take the new longboard out this AM. Waves were weak, but for about half an hour it was rideable with the rain cleaning it up big time....all gone now for sure though. Top Shelf shaved about a foot off the nose of his board this morning...OUCH! As far as future waves go, forget about it for now.
How far away is hurricane season???? Ho hum, guess I'll work a lot. Peace.
Oh, did I say Sea Lice are back!?!?

Spring. Unrideable.

Summer. Flat

Went for the beach run followed by swim combo. Light ESE puff creating mini chop. Still not bad for a swim. Good visibility with light N current. Great morning.

Almost looks rideable in my video. It's not. Another gorgeous, yet surfless, day in paradise.

Beautiful day. Leave the board at home

10 - 15 on shore breeze. Maybe scrapable later. Nothing going now. Another beautiful morning.

Shrimp attending anti-shrimping convention in JAX. Night shot.

Knee to thigh rideable. Workable.

Unrideable knee to max thigh. Wind blowing SSE @ 15+. One guy out at SR catching a little something. Not pretty but it's surf. Won't be around much longer.

Lake Atlantic. Warm. Muggy. Completely still. It's all going to change shortly. See you in the water bright and early tomorrow morning.

Sunrise session with Seacliff. SALSA showed but no other takers (Ian, what happened?). Just the desperhardcore. Kinda fun / kinda beat session. Knee to occasional thigh wind swell. Plenty of pests in the water. Gotta a little ripped up by MOW and lice, but still worth it. Gotta take what you can get this time of year.

Surfed the majority of the afternoon. Best around 1ish at low tide. Still fun later at high tide. Knee to max thigh wind swell. Nothing special but rideable. Mrs. Creole in Pic.
