Waist high and fun early on, but by the time I showed to the party @ 7ish things were starting to wind down. Rideable but you might want to wait for the tide to change. Seaweed soup. |
Knee to thigh high. Turtle season has begun ... Spring is on the way. Well, not this week. Wind has picked up to 15 to 20 from the SE and should hold through Saturday. |

Wind howled all night and still has yet to let up. SE @ 20+. Sounds like a dream chop scenereo. Just didn't pan out this morning. Large SE chunks floating in but just not breaking. Should be much better this afternoon. |
Today's session was an experiment in how many times I can get pitched over the falls and still paddle back out for another beating. Truthfully, I'm surprised my board survived, let alone my pride. Waist to chest high and dumping with a vengeance. Either skip this Sunday's confessional and paddle out now, or wait it out for a kinder tide. Winds forecast to back off tonight. Chop will run it's course tomorrow afternoon. |
Knee to waist high SE wind chop. SE wind beginning to back off. Grab some now. Will go flat this afternoon and for the rest of the weekend. |

| Beautiful morning. Almost still. No rideable surf to speak of. What was once looking like a chop-filled weekend is now looking very questionable, so maybe / maybe not for weekend surf. Mid next week does look good. | Wind is howling as it has been for the past 12 hours. Waist to chest high funchop with a moderate to plus S drift. Should hold through the day and hopefully up until early tomorrow. It's a beautiful day. Grab that board and head east my friend .... |
Wind died shortly after midnight. Fun knee to plus leftovers early on. Sputtered out by 7am. Presently, springtime South Florida beach day perfection. Should remain flat through tomorrow until our next hit of wind chopage come Tuesday.

| Cold front passing by this afternoon with strong high pressure filling in soon thereafter. Well, lets just say, there's some wind coming our way and will last through the week. But, you wouldn't know it by looking out the window this morning. It's perfect out. | Strong NE wind with crap blown-out drifty waves. Unless you are looking for a ride on the paddle mill, stay dry and wait it out for the wind to turn directly from the E. Power chop is here to stay. |
Clone of yesterdays surf. Waist high paddle mill. E wind @ 20 to 30 +. |

Waist plus powerchop. Less drifty and a little better organized than the past couple days. |
Largest chop of the '04 season. Head to well overhead early on and very manageable. Rising tide has taken some out of it but still very fun. |
Waist high. Big drop in size from yesterday. Still fun. Better grab some of dat chop while you can. What's here today may not be around tomorrow, certainly not Monday. |

Lets just forget yesterday ever happened ... real fun waves this morning, breaking in the waist high range until sputtering out around 7:30ish. Jumped in the car and drove a few miles up the road for even more fun waist to max chest high clean swell breaking on the outside with no one out. This puppy is on its last legs so grab some while you can. |
