November 03

I can hardly believe it is already November. It's starting out flat and rainy, but won't be for too long. We have chop coming for the weekend with a cold front.

Heads Up! ESA contest # 1 at Villas BY The SEA Sat Nov.3 or Nov.4!!!

Dead flat. Won't be for long! 4 day run of NE power chop on tap.

NE 15 to 20 never happened last night. It's still NW right now, but we should have surf soon. Wind should pick up big time today. Chop all weekend.

Labor Day November 5 November 06

Big and gnarly. If you're a LB'er best of luck on the paddle out. Waist to head high and plus on the sets.

Big and gnarly continued. Chest to head plus. Should continue for another day or two.

Waist to chest high NE chop. Still drifty and not an easy paddle out. Wind should back off some over the next day.

November 07 November 08 November 09

Knee plus E chop with thigh to rare waist high SE wind swell mixed in.

Flat and overcast.

NW wind never fully kicked in last night. Flat, but I wouldn't take my eyes off it.

November 10 November 11 November 12

Flat with little hope in sight for the remainder of the week.

Pretty blah out. Flat and overcast. A special thanks for all the men and women who have fought and are fighting for our country and freedom.   We (I) often take it for granted what you have done for us.   Thank you!!!!

See you at the FAU Owl game today @ 4pm @ Lockhart Stadium in Lauderdale.

Very, very flat.

November 13 November 14 November 15

Flat and nothing going forthe first half of this week.

More cool and flat weather. It's gotta change soon ...

Maybe a little SE chop if the wind picks up a little bit more. Right now, still unrideable.

Loaded up the car this morning for a week + crustacean sebatical, so wasn't able to go out. And, I definitely missed it. It was breaking across the reef behind my place like I haven't seen in quite some time. Leaving for work, it still looked real good. If you have time, his your S wind swell spots and you might score. Chris will be updating the site while I'm out. Sorry no pic update this morning!

Chris here updating for shrimp while he is out of town for a week or so.

Flat for now with a small shot for waves this weekend. Next week on the other hand looks to be the first real wave producer of the winter.

I took the above shots downtown Lauderdale yesterday. For all you race fans it looks like they are going all out for the end of the season race. They have downtown Lauderdale looking like Daytona.

November 20, 10pm: Chris here updating for shrimp while he is out of town for a week or so.

Flat again for South Florida. Tomorrow looks to be the start of a three or four day marathon. I hope all the hype doesn't kill it!

Liquid has a gallery up from Saturday, and I have a gallery up from Sunday of the Jupiter fall classic.

November 21, 7am: Chris here updating for shrimp while he is out of town for a week or so. Heads Up! ESA contest # 2 at Villas BY The SEA Sat Dec.2!?!

Son of a !!!!! I was hoping for a loggable wave this morning. The St Augustine buoy is where it needs to be. I guess its just a matter of time for it to fill in. As you can see in the above photos the front line was almost over head at 6:30 am. I don't know, maybe this afternoon.
