| Flat but looking late some late week / early next week chop coming our way. |
Surfed from 7 to 9 this AM. Waist high. Looking much bigger now and should continue to increase through the day. Almost hourly shots of rain, but for the most part dry out. Wind should start to back off tomorrow, but we should have rideable surf for the next 48 hours. |
Started waist to occasional chest, ended solid chest high. Go surf! |

Waist high and a little on the mushy side. Rainy too but no complaints. Go get yourself some. |
Did a lot of driving and no surfing this AM. Knee high swell in the water that I'm sure is rideable somewhere. Tide was not right and it's most likely on the way out. Hard to say what to expect for the rest of the week. A lot of action out there, but I'm not sure what it's going to bring to South Florida. |
Not happening out there this morning. Small underlying swell + knee high mid-tide chop = run on the beach. Nada surf. Upcoast could be getting some sweet south swell today. |

| Pretty ugly out there. Caught some really junky waves this morning. Very unorganized waist high S wind chop. Might get better, then again, it might not. |
Nothing too exciting out there now. Waist high and very rideable for those willing to hunt it down earlier. Unfortunately, I was under lock-down, so no surf for Shrimp. Hope you caught some. Surf looks to die for the next 24 to 48, or until the first cold front hits the state. |
A little bit drier and a lotta bit flatter. Go Fins! |

Flat for now ... |
Nothing going now, but maybe over the weekend. Upcoast looking good. Difficult to say what we'll see in South Florida. |
Wasn't breaking at home so took a ride up the road to Palm Beach. More swell in the water but the wind was on it. To quote a local, "I'd rather bite my d*ck off than ....." .... well, lets just say it wasn't quite that bad. Back at home, it's not as windy, but still choppy with not much swell in the water. The wind should begin to back off a little and the swell should pick up. That's a whole lot of should. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. To T.C.: best of luck man. You've provided South Florida with what I think is the best surfing website, consistently excellent forecasts and entertaining rant to boot. Enjoy your new life out west. You'll be missed! |

Had to do some hunting around, but pretty decent surf given the wind factor. Underlying waist to plus swell, which should stick around another day or so. |
Knee high swell flattened by wind. Unrideable. | 15+ NE wind, and not rideable yet. IF the Wilma forecast holds, we are looking at waist to plus wind chop for at least the rest of the week. Keep an eye on this one, we all know how the track can change almost by the hour. |

So Wilma is the baddest bitch ever! What an insane year. Was packed and ready to go this morning, and I'm still ready to go, since it was flat. Amazing how there's a CAT 5 a few days away and an on-shore 5 mph wind. |
Light SE breeze. Unrideable. | 10 to 15 mph SE wind and barely, if even, rideable. Conditions should continue over the weekend. |

Unrideable. OK, well this week isn't going to amount to much surf-wise. The 10mph wind blowing now is going to almost puff out, until picking back up again Sunday due to our friend Wilma. After Wilma surf will return as she heads out into the Atlantic and the first real cold front drops temps for the first time this season. |
The weather is beginning to change on the beach. Clouds and wind is picking up. Although the kites are out it's eerie how quite out it is. Prepare to hunker down and shut up the box. Storm is going to be over and out before we know it. Surf could get interesting tomorrow afternoon. | W I L M A !!!! |

| Chris here with a post Wilma update: Waves first thing this morning were good typical cold front waves but flattened out just after 8. |
Gone flat. Still no power. | Ankle to knee high N swell. Perhaps better later with the rising tide. |

| Coming to you from West Boca (work). Power still down at home. These past few days have been unbelieavable for myself, and, I'm sure, for the rest of SE Florida. Looking at the news, you wouldn't even know that most of South Florida is still in the dark, let alone taken a major beating. Anyhow, no surf this morning, but this is soon to change with strong NE winds foresast for the next 5 days. Power chop is on the way! Unless power comes back up at home, won't be reporting again until Monday. |
Chris here to update for Shrimp till Monday. |

Well the gouls weren't out like years past, but there were more treats for the taking. Chest to head high thumpers. Oh wait, speaking of tricks, word is that raw sewage is being dumped out of the Hillsboro Inlet, so surf at your own risk. You never know what might be floating up beside you ... |
